Our Insurance Policy
Neutral Ground Counseling Group, LLC is in-network with a limited number of insurance policies and considered out-of-network (OON) for all others. Founder and lead clinician Sally Harney, Ph.D accepts Aetna, TRICARE East, and TRICARE Humana Military for Virginia residents only. Please check back soon, as we will be adding additional insurance companies in the near future. As we get our other therapists through the insurance credentialing process, clients will be updated so that they may start using their insurance.
Note to our out-of-network clients
We do not submit insurance claims for our out-of-network clients. We provide monthly superbill statements to out-of-network clients to submit to their healthcare insurance providers for out-of-network reimbursement according to the provisions in their plan. By submitting the reimbursement forms to insurance companies, clients can significantly reduce their overall out-of-pocket costs. Please consult your insurance company for reimbursement policy information.
Note: Insurance companies require a DSM-V diagnosis.
